On behalf of everyone at Boerne Vision Center, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19—this includes not only those diagnosed with the virus, but also their friends and family, and so many more.
Due to Bexar and Kendall County’s declaration of precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19, Boerne Vision Center will be closing temporarily and reopening Tuesday March 24, 2020 for emergencies only. During this time we will still be responding to phone calls, text, and emails.
We will be available for telemedicine/telehealth appointments for non-emergency cases of if you are under self-quarantine.
Also in response to the rapidly developing COVID-19 pandemic and recommendation by the CDC, we would like to inform you of what we are doing to keep our patients and staff safe:
Employees, patients and visitors are asked to stay home if they are feeling ill.

Staff is advised to wear masks/gloves and regularly sanitize and wash hands per CDC guidelines.

We kindly ask visitors and family of patients to wait in their car if possible.

Like always, each room is disinfected after each patient and all touched objects and surfaces are sanitized.

You can always order contacts via phone, email, text. We are offering free shipping of contact lenses to your home (min. 2 boxes).
If you are healthy, there is no need to reschedule your upcoming appointment(s).
Please call to reschedule your appointment if:

You have a fever or have flu-like symptoms (cough, shortness of breath).

You or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain).

You have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or someone who was quarantined as a precaution; wait 14 days until you have your appointment at our office.
